Description The Leidos Intelligence Group has an exciting opportunity in the Reston, VA and the Washington, DC metro area.
The Data Analyst and Visualization Engineer will be part of an elite team of IT professionals to helping maintain and secure the enterprise environment for our Intelligence customer.
Various experience needed, junior to senior.
Primary Responsibilities Data Analyst and Visualization engineers design data reporting solutions to empower relevant stakeholders with all relevant data insights.
With these visualization tools, engineers help identify trends and patterns in data and reports on these findings.
Data Analyst Roles and Responsibilities Include:
Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources Performing analysis to assess quality and meaning of data Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction Assigning numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time.
Analyzing local, national, and global trends that impact both the organization and the industry Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data Working with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.
Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.
Basic Qualifications Must be a US Citizen.
Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required DoD 8570 IAT II certification Seasoned technical contributor Works independently with limited supervision May manage projects / processes Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex Influences others regarding system design, solutions, and procedures Preferred Qualifications Desired Education:
High School/GED
9 Yrs, or Associates
7 Yrs, or Bachelors +5 Yrs, or Masters
3 Yrs, or PhD +1 Yrs Experience or exposure supporting Intelligence Community programs Pay Range:
Pay Range $78,000.
00 - $141,000.
00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
